The art of Eating and Cooking

Published by todayuser

I was feeling sick when viewing the blog page at loveforanimals.today.com/2008/12/01/eating-fish-while-theyre-still-alive/ , then one of my friends forwarded me an attachment with the subject as “Happy Chinese New Year” since we had just celebrated the Lunar/Chinese New Year about a few weeks ago.

While waiting for the attachment to download (.wmv), I was thinking that it probably contained just some sort of best wishes for the New Year. No, it was actually a speed cooking contest where people cook as fast as they could, but the thing that needs to mention that was a contest for cooking and serving fish - where the fish is actually still alive when it is served.

It is hard enough for me to see the fish is gasping for oxygen; I do not know how people feel when they are actually eating the fish when it is served like that.
