One of my friends just forwarded me an email with the subject of Men Are Just Happier People. After reading it, I think it is hilarious, but it is also so true about what it says in general. So, I just wanted to share it here:

MEN ARE JUST HAPPIER PEOPLE

NICKNAMES
If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch; they will call each
other Laura, Kate and Sarah.

If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to
each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.

EATING OUT

When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20,
even though it’s only for $32.50. None of them will have anything
smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

MONEY

A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn’t need but
it’s on
sale.

BAT HR OOMS

A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste,
shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel.
The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337.
A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

ARGUMENTS

A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

FUTURE

A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

SUCCESS

A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can
spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

MARRIAGE

A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn’t.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won’t change, but she does.

DRESSING UP

A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the
bin, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail.
A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.

NATURAL

Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed.
Women somehow deteriorate during the night. (God how true!)

OFFSPRING

Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows
about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite
foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams.
A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house!!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
A married man should forget his mistakes.
There’s no use in two people remembering the same thing!

SO, send this to the women who have a sense of humor and who can handle
it … and to the men who will enjoy reading it.

I am married, and I am a full-time working mother with babies. I do have help from my family as well as my husband.

Today one of my kids has pinkeye. Taking the baby to the Dr. with his brother going along as well. Taking the medication for the baby, then dropping both of them as the daycare/preschool, and after that going to work; I felt like I was out of breath when I finally arrived as work.

Having only two babies and having help already, and I am still very busy busy with them. Thinking about the single mother, who recently had octuplets on top of having six other children under age of 6 at home. I do not know what she was thinking. I do not blame people who are still mad at her. I just do not know how she is going to provide love to each of her babies let a lone providing care for them. You can read more about her story at

How much foods can you get from $490 in food stamps to feed that whole team of babies?

While waiting for the attachment to download (.wmv), I was thinking that it probably contained just some sort of best wishes for the New Year. No, it was actually a speed cooking contest where people cook as fast as they could, but the thing that needs to mention that was a contest for cooking and serving fish - where the fish is actually still alive when it is served.

It is hard enough for me to see the fish is gasping for oxygen; I do not know how people feel when they are actually eating the fish when it is served like that.

Hello everyone,This is my very first blog, and I think I am going to love blogging. Here you probably will see my comparisons between life here, in the U.S.A. and there, Vietnam, where I used to live, and perhaps some other places that I have visited.

I used to live in Vietnam until I graduated from High School. Growing up in a different country, and I was raised in a totally different society, and now since I have an opportunity to live here in the U.S.A.; I can see so many differences. Best of all, I am more appreciated of what my life has brought me, and that I should not take anything for advantage. I am so thankful for what I have now, and having a chance to blog this to you.The very first difference I can tell you right now is in the U.S., I do not see people have to worry about day to day living and what is going to be on the dinner table. If you are poor, there are helps from the government such as: welfare and WIC (Women, Infants and Children), and so many other organizations can help you with foods like Food Banks, and there are shelters for homeless people. There are places that provide you with basic learning skills if you want to learn. All you have to do is not being lazy, and you will be able to work, and make a decent living.

I know it is bad to talk about this right now with the bad economic and the recession, but I think there are no other places like where we live now that the government will step in and help with revising your mortgage…It is cold and raining out side today, which makes me remember when I was in middle school. There, biking to school, which was about 2 km (about a bit more than a mile) from my grandma’s house (I did not live with my parents when I was young – my parents had to make a living and let me stayed with my grandma when my two other brothers were staying with my grandmother on my father’s side). Wearing a very thin jacket when the weather was probably about 19 Celsius (about 66 Fahrenheit), I could hear the sound of my teeth from both jaws were touching each other. My hands would be freezing cold, and there would be cracks on the tips of my fingers. Here, we have heaters, all kind of beautiful jackets, coaches, and boots, and food on the table, and what else would I be asking for? It has been a great day today since I found today.com and perhaps you, if you are reading this right now.

Let make sure that you come back to this site to read more story about my life.

Best,
